We have had a link with Wyndham Holiday Club since 2003. This means that apart from a yearly maintenance fee, we were given so many points we could use on monthly or yearly basis on free resort abodes in multiple locations. In 2003, we were intending to go to England for four weeks. Wyndham was tied in with Interval International which meant we had free places of abode around England. See the posts of our trip to England on my Personal Experiences website:

In November this year, we used some of our points to stay at the Ramada Resort for a week. See the two photographs above and the many photographs below to see what the resort was like. The place was packed and we had great difficulty in getting an apartment. We were at the very top on the eight floor in room 801. We had waterside frontage and could look on waters of the Pumicestone Passage at any time. See the photos below.

THE SWIMMING POOL: This pool was a spacious pool with many palms, a water slide for the children and several shade shelters and quite a few deck chairs for sunbathing or relaxing around the pool.

THE RESORT GARDEN:

The resort garden was around the front entry to the resort. With the many multicoloured red and yellow cordylines and the many palms around the nearby pool, these gave a rich subtropical garden style to the resort. It gave immediate feeling as though this resort was in a tropical climate.

VIEW FROM THE BACK BALCONY:

During the day we looked the city of Caloundra and at night there was an outline of the Glasshouse Mountains. See our post on our recent visit near the Glass House mountains region:
